What are Early Bird Perks?

Supporting UK Brands

Crafted with care by local makers whose names and stores we actually know. No bulk imports and no white-label brands.

Vetted Before Listed

We meet & vet every maker before they join, so you can pick anything from our shelves without second-guessing how it was made.

Truly Natural Ingredients

What touches your skin and home should be natural and deeply nourishing. Our standards are high for your peace of mind.

Choosing well should be a breeze.

No more squinting at labels, digging into founder stories, or trying to guess what’s actually natural. We do the legwork upfront. We meet every UK maker, check what goes into their products, and make sure their standards match yours. You can just pick what you like, know it’s sound, and get on with your day.

What we check

Ingredients & materials

Full lists, no shortcuts. We read every ingredient and material breakdown with nothing hidden behind vague blanket terms like "fragrance", or "proprietary blend". If an ingredient doesn’t serve a clean, honest purpose, it doesn’t make the cut.

Pure materials only. We verify formulas are free from parabens, phthalates, and microplastics. For textiles and clothing, we insist on pure, natural fibres like organic cotton, linen, and wool - never sneaky synthetic blends masquerading as natural goods.

The "How" & the "Where"

Independent UK workshops. We only partner with makers based right here in the UK that control their own production. From independent artisan studios to dedicated small-batch workshops. We verify their setup so you know you’re buying genuine domestic craft, not mass-produced imports.

Ethical sourcing. We check where raw materials come from, choosing British first like local botanicals, honey and textiles. When something can't be grown here, we make sure it comes from trusted, ethical suppliers with no cheap mass-production shortcuts.

paperwork & claims

Real safety and proof. For cosmetics and body care, we check that legal UK safety reports (CPSR) are locked down so you know every formula is safe and compliant. If a maker claims an organic or ethical certification, we run our own check to verify all paperwork is in order.

No marketing spin. We don’t just read the packaging. We speak directly with every brand to check that claims like 'organic', '100% natural', or 'UK made' are the real deal. We ask the direct questions and look over the details together, so you get the honest truth, not just clever marketing.

Hi, I'm Irena.

Living in Scotland, I’m surrounded by incredible artisans and weekend farmers markets. But on a rainy Tuesday evening when you simply need a clean shampoo, tracking down genuine makers online isn’t easy. I found myself sifting through ingredients, fine print, and "About Us" pages just to figure out if a brand was truly independent and family-run, or hiding behind clever branding. Like you, I got tired of the detective work.

I started Organoo to bring authentic makers from across the UK together in one spot, right at your fingertips - so you can support local craft, choose well in seconds, and have total peace of mind that the moisturiser you've been eyeing is as clean as it claims to be.

Skip the detective work. Be among the first 100 Early Birds and get some cool launch perks.

How do you choose which makers to list?

We talk directly with every business before they earn a spot on our shelves. We go through their ingredient and material lists line by line, make sure skincare formulas have legal UK safety reports (CPSR), and check that claims like "organic" or "natural" are backed up by facts. If a product has hidden synthetic fillers, artificial fragrances, or questionable sourcing, we simply don’t list it.

Is everything made in the UK?

Yes, every maker and brand we partner with is based right here in the UK, and their products are made in local studios, workshops, or small facilities. Let's be hones "Designed in the UK" is code for "Manufactured in Asia" - you won't see those brands on our shelves!

Not every raw material can be grown in our climate, like shea butter or certain plant oils, so when ingredients have to come from abroad, we confirm they are ethically sourced from reputable suppliers with no mass-market shortcuts.

How do I know you’re not just greenwashing?

We treat our catalogue as a strict filter, not an open door. Many brands apply to Organoo, but if their sourcing is murky or claims don't hold up under scrutiny, we turn them away. For every product that makes our shelves, we put all the facts out in the open, sharing exactly what goes into each item and why it earned its place, so you never have to take a slogan on blind faith.

I'm a maker. Can I join?

We’re always looking for genuine UK makers who do things properly. Drop us a note through the link below. We’ll arrange a discovery call to get acquainted with your work and chat through our vetting process together.
